Skin care must take into account several aspects, because it’s easy to make mistakes. For example, exposing yourself to the sun and wind without adequate protection. On the nutritional side, knowing the antioxidant benefits of certain foods, as well as their ability to stimulate collagen production, can change the natural evolution of the skin and prolong its youthful appearance. In addition, there are natural tricks that decisively contribute to better-looking skin.  To achieve this, there is a plant that is very easy to care for at home, as it requires little maintenance and is increasingly used in the world for its countless benefits for all skin types.
Aloe vera is one of the most valued plants in the preparation of home remedies for skin care. It can aid tissue regeneration due to its healing properties, but it also soothes pain, is an anticoagulant, and is an ally against allergies. It originates in Africa, and there are many varieties, almost 500 identified, although the most widely used in cosmetic applications is Aloe barbadensis miller. Incidentally, an infusion is also an ally against colds and constipation.
Aloe vera cream: moisturizing and anti-inflammatory
Aloe vera is a moisturizer, and its proper application is very effective against skin irritation . There are many commercial products containing it, but it can also be prepared at home by carefully following the detailed steps.
Mix 200 centiliters of aloe vera gel (the size of a regular coffee cup), 100 centiliters of coconut oil, two tablespoons of jojoba oil, one and a half tablespoons of beeswax, and, if desired, between 5 and 8 tablespoons of lavender essential oil. First, mix the two oils and the wax, heat over low heat, and let the mixture cool off the heat before adding the aloe vera and blending the mixture. Then, add the essential oil, mix again, and store the mixture in a glass jar, keeping it away from heat sources.
Aragonese makeup artist Ana Bruned clarifies that “there are other substances that help collagen production, such as vitamin C. Retinol also produces collagen externally ,” Bruned adds. Retinol is a derivative of vitamin A that, when applied topically, is targeted at treating wrinkles and blemishes, improving the texture and appearance of the skin.
